The medicinal waters of Hotel Orchidea
The medicinal water of Hotel Orchidea is a salty (chloride) bath with outstanding healing properties. Mineral water is water that contains at least 1000 mg of minerals per liter. Medicinal water is mineral water whose composition and physical properties have a healing effect on tissues. The designation of “medicinal water” is preceded by medical examinations and balneological research, which authorize the use of the name. The healing power of the thermal water in Tengelic was confirmed in the summer of 2014.
Its main effects are: it raises the temperature of the skin (by 0.3-0.5 degrees Celsius), dilates the surface blood vessels, improves local metabolism, has an anti-inflammatory effect, inhibits the growth of bacteria, and has antispasmodic and keratolytic (exfoliating) effects.
Recommended for chronic rheumatic diseases, as well as urological and gynecological inflammatory diseases and infertility. Bathing in salt water can also have a healing effect on many skin diseases (e.g., psoriasis). It is recommended to bathe twice a day for 30 minutes, and the beneficial effects can be felt after about 10 sessions. During bathing, a spa treatment reaction may occur, which may cause general malaise, fatigue, increased pain, headache, drowsiness, drowsiness, insomnia, irritability, loss of appetite, rapid pulse, and sometimes fever and redness of the skin. These symptoms will disappear over time and do not affect the healing effect.
Therapeutic baths are not recommended during pregnancy or menstruation, in cases of severe heart disease, severe hypertension, advanced varicose veins, or severe kidney disease, incontinence, or infectious diseases (e.g., tuberculosis). .
